Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has received a vote of confidence in the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).
A total of 157 lawmakers voted in favour of the resolution and he said he had the confidence of the HoR. In comparison, 110 lawmakers voted against it and one remained neutral.
When the Prime Minister asked for a vote of confidence on Wednesday, 268 out of the 275 members of the House of Representatives voted. In the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister had to garner the support of at least 138 lawmakers to show a majority in his favour.
